Aesthetic Mentorship Programme
A 4-Month Clinical Mentorship with Dr. Anna Kantser, MBBS, MRCGP
Most doctors who move into aesthetic medicine start the same way: a one- or two-day course, a certificate, and then a gap between what the course covered and what actually walks through the door on a Tuesday afternoon.
Confidence in this field comes from something a short course can't provide, which is case volume, supervision, and someone experienced enough to answer the awkward question when it comes up mid-consultation. The Dr. Anna Aesthetics mentorship programme exists to close that specific gap.
This aesthetic mentorship programme runs for four months from a Central London clinic and is built for qualified medical professionals who want real supervised practice in injectables and skin-boosting treatments, not another slide deck.
Meet Your Mentor
Dr. Anna Kantser has spent over ten years in aesthetic medicine, alongside her ongoing NHS work as a GP in London with a special interest in dermatology. That combination matters for a mentorship more than it does for a single treatment: it means the person supervising your first live cases is still seeing general medicine day to day, still making judgement calls under time pressure, and still accountable to NHS-level standards of practice.
Her approach, described on her own clinic pages as detail-driven and grounded in medical knowledge as much as aesthetic eye, is the same approach she brings to teaching. You're not learning a fixed technique from a manual.
You're learning how one experienced doctor actually thinks through a case, from the first consultation to the treatment plan to the conversation about what a patient can realistically expect.

What the Programme Involves
This isn't a course you sit through once and leave with a certificate. It runs in two connected phases: an intensive clinical block across the first two months, working directly in clinic, followed by two further months where you're back in your own practice but still have Dr. Anna to call on.
Places are kept deliberately limited. A mentorship built on individual case discussion and direct feedback doesn't scale to a large cohort, so Dr. Anna works with a small number of mentees at a time rather than running fixed group intakes.

Your 4-Month Mentorship Journey
Months 1–2: Clinical Immersion and Practical Development
The first phase is built around supervised clinical time, not lectures.
-
Eight clinical days in total, delivered as two clinical days per week.
-
15–20 hands-on practical cases under direct supervision, spanning botulinum toxin, dermal fillers and skin boosters.
You'll spend this time working through real patient cases rather than models or theory alone, moving in stages from watching Dr. Anna work to taking the lead yourself once she's confident you're ready. Across the eight weeks, that progression covers:
-
Sitting in on patient consultations and treatment planning before you run your own.
-
Building a structured method for facial assessment, covering facial structure, proportion and treatment suitability.
-
Anatomy and the safety considerations that actually change how you'd approach a case.
-
Hands-on technique for skin boosters, botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments.
-
Understanding why a particular treatment gets chosen for a particular patient, not just how to deliver it.
-
Patient communication and setting expectations that hold up once the swelling's gone down.
-
Case discussion, direct questions, and honest feedback from Dr. Anna after each session.
-
Moving from observation into hands-on treatment under close supervision.
-
Starting to put together your own marketing materials, including before-and-after photography and video content.
What to Expect Day to Day
-
Facial analysis and anatomy assessment on real patients.
-
Full consultations, including reading what a patient actually wants versus what they say they want.
-
Treatment planning worked through case by case, not from a template.
-
Theory that's specific to whatever procedure is on the schedule that day.
-
Live demonstrations before you're handed the syringe.
-
Supervised hands-on practice, with a live model arranged for every procedure.
-
How to recognise and manage complications, not just avoid them in theory.
-
Post-treatment care and the advice patients actually need to hear.

Treatment Areas Covered
Every procedure is practised on a live model arranged for that session, so nothing is rehearsed on a training pad before it's tried for real.

Dermal fillers
Lip filler, cheek and mid-face filler, jawline filler, and non-surgical rhinoplasty using nose filler.

Skin boosters
Polynucleotides for the tear trough and face, alongside a broader range including Profhilo, NCTF and polynucleotides for the face and neck.

Botulinum toxin
Upper-face treatment, full-face approaches, and treatment for excessive sweating.
Months 3–4:
Ongoing Mentorship and Support
The intensive clinic phase is only half the programme. For the next two months, you're back treating patients in your own practice, and this is usually where the real questions surface, once you're the one in the room without Dr. Anna standing next to you.
-
Case discussions with Dr. Anna as questions come up in your own practice.
-
Clinical and treatment-planning discussions on cases you're actually seeing.
-
Continued access to educational materials.
-
Guidance on building a professional social media presence.
-
Support creating educational, compliant aesthetic content.
-
Follow-up clinic visits or further shadowing, arranged as needed.
The programme isn't designed to end the moment the clinical block finishes. You get the space to apply what you've learned, come back with genuine questions from real cases, and keep refining your practice with a mentor who already knows the patients and cases you've been working on.

Who is This Programme For?
This is built for qualified medical professionals who've decided a short course isn't enough, and who want a mentor they can keep coming back to once they're seeing patients on their own.
-
Doctors and other medical professionals new to aesthetic medicine, who want proper grounding before treating independently.
-
Those who've completed basic aesthetic training but need more supervised case volume than a weekend course gave them.
-
Practitioners who want to sharpen consultation and treatment-planning skills specifically, rather than just injection techniques.
-
Anyone who wants ongoing clinical support while they build their own aesthetic practice, not a one-off qualification.
Because places are limited, the programme stays personal and tailored to each mentee, rather than run to a fixed group timetable.
